A&D Premium instant ear thermometer UT-302CN, digital tympanic thermometer
The A&D UT-302CN is a digital ear thermometer that takes a tympanic reading in about one second. It scans the ear 512 times per second and beeps when the reading is complete.
An illuminated LCD shows the result in Fahrenheit or Celsius, and the unit recalls the last 10 readings. It has a wide ergonomic grip, a fever indicator and auto power-off. A&D says no protective lens cover is needed, and describes it as suitable for adults and children of all ages.
It runs on one CR-2032 lithium battery, included, good for about 5,000 measurements. The operating range is 60.8 to 95 F, so let it adjust to room temperature before use. Follow the included manual for ear positioning and cleaning the probe lens.
