Contour Next Gen Bluetooth blood glucose meter kit with SmartLIGHT
The Contour Next Gen is a Bluetooth blood glucose meter for people with diabetes who test at home. It uses No Coding technology and CONTOUR NEXT test strips, and its logbook holds up to 800 results.
Pair it with the free Contour Diabetes app to send each result to your phone. The SmartLIGHT indicator shows in colour whether a result is above, in or below your target range, and Second-Chance sampling gives you 60 seconds to add more blood to the same strip.
A bright backlit screen and lighted strip port help with testing in dim rooms. Bluetooth must be on for pairing and for each test you want to send. It is for single person self-testing outside the body and is not for diagnosing or screening for diabetes or for newborns.

Does it have lights for night testing?
Yes. Ascensia lists a bright backlit screen and a lighted test strip port.
