Hibiclens Antiseptic Skin Cleanser 16 oz pump bottle with 4% chlorhexidine gluconate
Hibiclens is an antimicrobial skin cleanser with 4% chlorhexidine gluconate (CHG) that helps reduce bacteria that can cause disease. This 16 fl oz pump bottle is item 57516. It is labeled for skin wound and general skin cleansing, surgical hand scrub and healthcare personnel handwash.
For general cleansing, rinse the area with water, apply the minimum amount needed, wash gently and rinse thoroughly. For handwashing, use about 5 mL and wash for 15 seconds. The pump makes it easy to dispense a measured amount at a sink.
For external use only. Keep out of eyes, ears and mouth, and do not use in the genital area. Do not use if allergic to chlorhexidine. It should not be routinely used on wounds deeper than the superficial skin layers. Stop use and ask a doctor if irritation or allergic reaction occurs.
