Description
Nampons Kids nosebleed stoppers for children, 12 or 24 pack
Nampons Kids are small nasal plugs made to stop nosebleeds in children age 4 and older. Each one contains oxidized cellulose, a clotting agent the manufacturer describes as hypoallergenic, on a PVA sponge. Each plug measures 35 mm x 5.5 mm x 5.5 mm.
To use one, insert it gently into the affected nostril, apply gentle pressure until the bleed stops, then remove it carefully and repeat if necessary. For smaller noses, the manufacturer says you can trim the plug to size. Choose a 12-pack or a 24-pack of two boxes.
Nampons are meant for mild to moderate nosebleeds. Seek medical attention for a severe nosebleed or any nosebleed that lasts more than 15 minutes, and supervise children while using them. Ingredients are sodium salt of oxidized cellulose, PVA sponge, polyethylene glycol and a surfactant.
