Description
React Health Numa full face CPAP mask with headgear (BMC-FM2)
The React Health Numa is a vented full face CPAP mask that covers the nose and mouth and channels airflow from a CPAP or bi-level device. It is supplied with a silicone cushion, forehead pad and headgear, and comes in Small, Medium and Large.
The manual lists a therapy pressure range of 3 to 40 cmH2O and dead space under 218 mL, with a declared sound pressure level of 20 dBA at 1 m. The elbow, swivel and valve are not designed to come apart for cleaning.
A prescription is required, and the mask is for adults over 66 lb (30 kg) on prescribed positive airway pressure therapy. Keep the vent holes clear and never use it without the non-rebreathing valve. It is not made with natural rubber latex.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a prescription?
Yes. In the US, federal law restricts this device to sale by or on the order of a physician. It is for adult patients (over 66 lb / 30 kg) prescribed positive airway pressure therapy.
Does the mask contain latex?
No. The manual states the mask is not made with natural rubber latex. It is not for use by patients with silicone allergies.
Can I use it with any CPAP machine?
It is made for use with CPAP or bi-level devices recommended by a physician or respiratory therapist. Check the technical specifications with your clinician to confirm compatibility.
How do I clean it?
Hand wash the parts in warm water (about 86 F / 30 C) with mild unscented dish detergent, rinse, and air dry out of direct sunlight. Do not use bleach, alcohol or scented products.
Can I use it if the machine is off?
No. Vent holes must stay clear, and the mask should only be worn while the device is blowing air, or exhaled air can be rebreathed.
How do I choose a size?
The mask comes in three cushion sizes chosen by measuring face length with the manual's sizing table. If the size is wrong, consult your clinician.
