Description
Description
Siemens Multistix 10 SG urinalysis reagent strips, 100 count, CLIA waived
Siemens Multistix 10 SG reagent strips are urine dipsticks that test ten values on one strip: glucose, bilirubin, ketone, specific gravity, blood, pH, protein, urobilinogen, nitrite and leukocytes. Each bottle holds 100 strips for use in clinics and doctor's offices.
Dip a strip into fresh, well-mixed urine and read it against the color chart, or read it on a Siemens CLINITEK Status analyzer. The strips are listed as CLIA waived, so they suit point-of-care testing by trained staff in a professional setting.
These strips are for professional, in vitro diagnostic use only. Store at 15 to 30 C out of direct sunlight, recap the bottle tightly with the desiccant inside, and do not use past the expiration date. Do not base a diagnosis on a single result.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What do these strips test?
Ten urine values: glucose, bilirubin, ketone, specific gravity, blood, pH, protein, urobilinogen, nitrite and leukocytes.
Is this for home testing?
No. It is a professional product for use in clinics and doctor's offices. It is for in vitro diagnostic use only, and a CLIA number may be needed to buy it.
How are the results read?
Compare the strip to the color chart on the bottle by eye, or read it on a Siemens CLINITEK Status analyzer. Siemens says instrument reading improves consistency.
How should I store the strips?
Store at 15 to 30 C (59 to 86 F), out of direct sunlight. Recap the bottle right away and tightly, and leave the desiccant inside. Do not use past the expiration date.
What specimen do I use?
Fresh, well-mixed urine that has not been centrifuged.
Can one result make a diagnosis?
No. Do not base a diagnosis or treatment decision on a single result or method. Follow the directions exactly, including timing.
