The Thermophore Classic Model 056 is a medium 14 x 14 inch weighted moist heating pad. It produces moist heat automatically from humidity in the air, so no water is needed, with a maximum temperature of 150 to 165 F.

A press-and-hold switch keeps heat on only while you hold it, and the pad cools when you release. Thermophore also lists a 25 minute automatic shutoff. The soft fleece cover is removable and washable, and the cord is 9.5 feet.

Place the pad on top of the body area and do not lie on it. Avoid fresh injuries, swelling and open wounds. The pad runs on 75 W at 120 V only, and a weighted pad contains lead, so stop use if it is torn open.
