Description

Real-time EEG feedback for meditation

The Muse 2 is a headband with EEG, PPG heart rate and motion sensors that works with the Muse app. As you meditate, the app turns your brain activity into sounds such as weather, so you hear when your mind wanders.

Muse rates the battery at about 5 hours of use, with a Micro-USB charge of about 3 hours. It pairs by Bluetooth with iOS 16.1+ and Android 8+, and Premium features are an optional paid add-on.

Do I need a subscription?

No for the core experience. Muse Premium (AI coach, Alpha Peak cognitive performance tracking, external audio, curated programs) is a paid add-on.

What devices does it work with?

Muse lists iOS 16.1 or later and Android 8 or later, over Bluetooth 4.2.

How long does the battery last?

About 5 hours of use per charge per Muse, or 10 to 15 days at 20 minutes a day. A full charge takes about 3 hours.

Does it need headphones?

You hear feedback through your phone speaker or headphones you supply. Headphones are not included.

Is it a medical device?

Muse presents it as a meditation and sleep tool. It is not for diagnosing or treating any condition.
