Sleepon MRD-M2 anti-snoring mouthpiece, an adjustable mandibular repositioning device
The Sleepon MRD-M2 is an adjustable anti-snoring mouthpiece, also called a mandibular repositioning device. It sits over the teeth during sleep and holds the lower jaw forward to help keep the tongue and throat tissues from collapsing.
You adjust it in 1 mm steps, starting at 1 mm and adding a step each week while following Sleepon's four-week plan. Sleepon says it can be used without medical assistance, and the kit adds a handle, brush and storage container.
Intended for adults with snoring or mild repeated breathing disruptions. Sleepon advises against use for people under 18, with TMD, respiratory or central breathing disorders, loose teeth, gum disease, or dentures and braces. Possible side effects include tooth and jaw soreness.
