Medela Freestyle Hands-Free wearable double electric breast pump

The Medela Freestyle Hands-Free is a wearable, double electric breast pump. The collection cups sit inside a nursing bra while the motor unit rests in a pocket or your hand, so you can pump without being tied to a tabletop machine.

It uses Medela 2-Phase Expression technology with up to 9 vacuum levels in each phase and 105 degree angled breast shields. Each transparent cup holds up to 150 ml (5 oz) and has a side scale. The built-in battery gives about 2 hours of use per charge and recharges by USB-C.

It works with the Medela Family app, which is recommended but not required. Cups do not stop when full, so pause and pour out milk. It is a single-user pump, not hospital-grade, and users with a pacemaker or implanted defibrillator should check with a healthcare professional first.

How do I clean it?

Boil before first use, wash after each use and sanitize daily. The cups are top-rack dishwasher safe. Never rinse the inside of the tubing.
