Description
Six lipid markers from a home fingerstick
The Curo L7 meter reports total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, calculated LDL, LDL/HDL ratio, and non-HDL from a 35 microliter fingerstick sample. Results take about 3 minutes using photometry.
The meter stores up to 500 results and sets up with a code chip. The kit ships with the meter, 5 strips, 10 lancets, 5 capillary tubes, a code chip, a manual, and 4 AAA batteries.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What does it measure?
Total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, and LDL (calculated), plus LDL/HDL ratio and non-HDL. LDL is calculated, and shows NA if total cholesterol, triglycerides, or HDL falls outside the measuring range.
What are the measuring ranges?
Total cholesterol 100 to 450 mg/dL, triglycerides 45 to 650 mg/dL, HDL 25 to 95 mg/dL. Readings outside these limits show no number. Curofit does not list ranges for LDL, ratio, or non-HDL.
How much blood do I need?
Curofit lists a 35 microliter sample, collected with a single-use capillary tube. A single drop is not what the manufacturer specifies.
How do I set it up?
With the meter off, insert the code chip into the side of the meter and it codes automatically. The owner's manual covers the full steps.
Do I need to fast?
Neither Curofit's product page nor its FAQ says. Check the owner's manual in your box or ask your clinician when fasting matters for your own testing.
Can this replace a lab test or doctor visit?
Curofit calls this a medical device and tells you to read the instructions carefully before testing. It is not a replacement for a clinician: talk to your doctor about results and any treatment decisions.
Is it FDA cleared?
Curofit's pages do not state an FDA status, so this page does not claim one. Check the owner's manual or ask Curofit support.
