Laerdal Compact Suction Unit 4 (LCSU 4) 300 ml portable battery-powered suction unit
The Laerdal LCSU 4 is a portable, battery-powered suction unit for clearing fluids from the airway in emergency and pre-hospital care. This 300 ml version uses a click-in disposable canister, so no separate vacuum tube is needed to connect it.
The vacuum range runs from 50 to 550 mmHg and can be set for a newborn or an adult. Laerdal states up to 45 minutes of continuous use on free flow suction from the rechargeable NiMH battery, and a HEPA-rated bacterial filter is built in.
Each unit ships with a 300 ml canister, patient tubing, patient port, battery, AC/DC adapter charger, carry bag and user guide. It is a medical device for trained responders and clinicians, so read the Laerdal user guide before use.
