Description
Lumin 3B Medical LM3000 UV-C sanitizer for CPAP masks and household items
The Lumin 3B Medical Multi-Purpose UVC Cleaner is a countertop UV-C sanitizer with a polished aluminum drawer that reflects the light. It treats CPAP masks, phones, keys, game controllers and similar items without water or chemicals in a 5 minute cycle.
Place items face up on the acrylic rack, close the drawer and press the single power button. A beep and green light mark the end of the cycle, and no waiting period is needed. The 9 W UV-C lamp is rated for 9,000 hours and designed to outlast the device.
UV-C only treats surfaces it reaches, so wipe soiled items first and clean hoses and dual-flap cushions another way. Do not drop it, immerse it in water or stack objects on top. It plugs into a standard 110 V outlet and works on a level counter.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
How long is a cycle?
One cycle takes 5 minutes. Close the drawer, press the round power button and the orange Cycle-On light shows. At the end the unit beeps, the UV light is no longer visible and a green light shows completion.
What can I put in it?
3B Medical describes it as a household UV sanitizer for items such as cell phones, keys, video game controllers and home-use face masks. Items must fit in the drawer.
Does it work inside hoses or cushions?
UV-C only reaches surfaces exposed to the light. Retailer guidance states it is not effective inside hoses or dual-flap cushions, so clean those separately.
Do I need to clean items first?
Yes if they are soiled. The manual says to wipe visibly soiled items thoroughly with a wipe before placing them in the drawer.
Does it use chemicals or water?
No. It uses a UV-C lamp and a polished aluminum drawer that reflects the light.
What results has it been tested for?
The manual states lab testing on hard surfaces showing 99.99% reduction of E. coli, S. enterica, S. aureus and K. pneumoniae, and over 99.9% on porous soft surfaces for Influenza A (H1N1) and Human Coronavirus 229E. Results depend on items being exposed to the light.
How do I care for it?
Wipe the casing with a moist cloth and never immerse it in water or solvents. Avoid abrasive or alkali-based cleaners such as baking soda on the aluminum drawer. Do not drop it, as the bulb or glass drawer may shatter. Do not stack objects on top of the unit.
What if it interferes with other electronics?
The manual says to unplug the unit and stop using it immediately if you notice electromagnetic interference, then contact 3B Medical.
