The Welch Allyn PanOptic Plus (118-3-US) is a direct ophthalmoscope head for eye examinations. Welch Allyn states it provides a 20X larger viewing area than the view through a standard ophthalmoscope.

Quick Eye alignment technology uses two indicator lights on the patient side to help direct the patient's gaze toward the optic disc. Illumination comes from long-lasting LED lamps, and Welch Allyn also lists DuraShock technology for the head.

This listing is for the instrument head only. It runs on Welch Allyn 3.5 V power sources, so a compatible handle such as the Lithium Ion Plus power handle is needed and is not included. The optional iExaminer SmartBracket, phone and app for image capture are also sold separately.
