Description
Bluetooth upper arm monitor with AFib screening
The Omron Gold BP5360 screens for the possibility of atrial fibrillation during each blood pressure measurement and syncs readings by Bluetooth to the compatible OMRON app. It stores up to 80 readings for each of 2 users and has a guest mode.
It shows a High symbol at 130 mmHg systolic or 80 mmHg diastolic and above, plus a weekly morning average. The AFib feature is a screening aid only, and Omron says it is not intended for people under 22, pregnant women, or people with a pacemaker or defibrillator.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What is in the box?
Omron's manual lists the monitor, wide-range D-ring cuff, 4 AA batteries, storage case, instruction manual and quick start guide.
How does the AFib screening work?
The monitor analyzes pulse pressure wave data during your blood pressure measurement and flashes a symbol if it detects a possibility of AFib. Omron says the feature is for home screening for the possibility of AFib only. Readings are not displayed when a possibility of AFib is detected, because blood pressure and pulse measured during AFib cannot generally be relied on.
Does it replace a doctor's diagnosis?
No. Omron states the feature does not notify on every episode of AFib, and no alert does not mean AFib is absent. It will not detect other arrhythmias or a heart attack, and the monitor is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment or management of AFib. It has not been validated for patients with AFib.
Who should not use it?
Omron says it is not intended for people under 22 years of age, people who are pregnant, or people with an implanted pacemaker or defibrillator. It is for adults at home and is not for use in ambulatory environments. Do not use it on infants, toddlers, children or people who cannot express themselves, on an injured arm or an arm under medical treatment, or while on an IV drip or blood transfusion. Do not use it near MRI, CT or high frequency surgical equipment, or in oxygen rich environments. Consult your physician first if you have common arrhythmias, arterial sclerosis, poor perfusion, diabetes or renal disease. Never adjust medication based on readings.
How many people can use it?
It stores readings for 2 users, up to 80 each. Guest mode takes a measurement for someone else.
How does it connect to my phone?
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone, install the compatible OMRON app, and follow the pairing steps. Keep the monitor within 16 ft (5 m) of your phone. You can also use the monitor without a phone.
What cuff size does it take?
The included cuff fits upper arms 9 to 17 in (22 to 42 cm). An optional 7 to 9 in cuff is sold separately by Omron.
What does the High symbol mean?
It appears when systolic is 130 mmHg or above or diastolic is 80 mmHg or above. A high morning average symbol appears when the weekly morning average is 130/80 mmHg or above.
