Jumper JPD-HA101 upper arm blood pressure monitor with two user memory
The Jumper JPD-HA101 is an automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor for adults. It measures systolic and diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate using the oscillometric method, and saves the date and time of each reading.
Two user groups each store up to 99 readings, so two people can keep separate records at home. The monitor also saves a flag with each reading showing whether an irregular heartbeat was detected, and it turns itself off after 30 seconds.
It runs on 4 AA batteries, which are included, or on USB power without batteries. The cuff is listed for 22-36 cm or 22-42 cm arms, so check the cuff label. It is for monitoring, not diagnosis, and is not for children under 12.

Does it run on batteries or USB?
Both. It takes 4 AA alkaline batteries, or it can be powered over USB without batteries. A USB cable or adapter is not in the manufacturer packing list.
What arm size does the cuff fit?
The manual lists the cuff for an arm circumference of 22-36 cm or 22-42 cm depending on the cuff supplied. Measure the middle of your relaxed upper arm and check the cuff label.
Can two people use it?
Yes. It has two user groups, each storing up to 99 readings. When memory is full, the oldest readings are replaced.
Does it show a pulse rate?
Yes. It shows systolic and diastolic pressure and pulse rate, and it saves a flag with each reading showing whether an arrhythmia was detected.
Who can use it?
The manual says it is for adults. Do not let a child under 12 use it, and anyone aged 12 to 18 should use it with an adult. Pregnant women should use it under a doctor's guidance.
How often can I measure?
Do not measure more than 3 times in a row, and rest at least 5 minutes between any two measurements.
Where should I not put the cuff?
Do not put the cuff over a wound, or on an arm with an invasive treatment device or an arteriovenous shunt.
Can it diagnose a condition?
No. The manual says not to self-diagnose from the results and to consult your doctor about them.
