Compact wrist monitor with Advanced Averaging
The Omron BP6100 3 Series is a compact wrist blood pressure monitor with one-touch operation. It measures systolic, diastolic and pulse rate and stores up to 60 readings.
Advanced Averaging shows the average of the latest 2 or 3 readings taken within 10 minutes, and an irregular heartbeat symbol appears when detected 2 or more times in a reading. The built-in cuff fits wrists 5.3 to 8.5 in (13.5 to 21.5 cm), and the monitor runs on 2 AAA batteries.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
Does it connect to my phone?
No. The BP6100 manual describes no wireless features. Readings are stored on the monitor, up to 60, and you view them on its screen.
How do I position it for an accurate reading?
Wear the cuff on your left wrist with your palm and display facing up, leaving about 0.5 in (1 to 2 cm) between the cuff and the base of your palm, and do not cover the protruding wrist bone. Sit with your back and arm supported, feet flat, and keep the monitor at about the same level as your heart. Omron says a monitor held too high reads artificially low and too low reads artificially high.
What is Advanced Averaging?
The monitor can calculate an average of the latest 2 or 3 readings taken within a 10 minute span. Press and hold the memory button for more than 2 seconds while the monitor is off to view it.
Can several people use it?
Omron describes the BP6100 as storing up to 60 readings for one user. There are no separate user profiles, so if you share it, track the other person's readings separately.
What wrist size does it fit?
Wrist circumference from 5.3 to 8.5 in (13.5 to 21.5 cm). The cuff is built into the monitor.
What do the High and irregular heartbeat symbols mean?
High appears if systolic is 130 mmHg or above, or diastolic is 80 mmHg or above. The irregular heartbeat symbol appears when an irregular rhythm is detected 2 or more times during a measurement. If it keeps appearing, Omron recommends consulting your physician.
Who should not use it?
Omron says not to use it on infants, toddlers, children or persons who cannot express themselves, on an injured wrist or a wrist under medical treatment, or on a wrist with an IV drip or blood transfusion. It is not for ambulatory use or use on aircraft, or near MRI, CT or HF surgical equipment. Consult your physician first if you have common arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, arterial sclerosis, poor perfusion, diabetes, pregnancy, pre-eclampsia or renal disease. It has not been validated for pregnant patients. Never adjust medication based on readings.
