Contour Next ONE Bluetooth blood glucose meter with SmartLIGHT

The Contour Next ONE is a Bluetooth blood glucose meter from Ascensia Diabetes Care for home blood sugar testing. It uses Contour Next test strips and a small 0.6 microliter blood sample, and it needs no coding.

SmartLIGHT shows green, amber or red after each test to tell you if a result is within, above or below your target range. Second-Chance sampling lets you add more blood to the same strip, and the meter syncs with the Contour Diabetes app.

This system includes the meter, a Microlet Next lancing device, 10 lancets and a user guide. Contour Next test strips are sold separately. The meter runs on two CR2032 batteries. Use it for self-testing and follow your healthcare provider's advice on target ranges.

The Ascensia value pack lists test strips, but this listing is the meter system with a lancing device and 10 lancets. Contour Next test strips are sold separately, so make sure you have a supply before you start testing.

Which test strips does it use?

It uses Contour Next test strips. Other brands of strips will not work with this meter.

Does it connect to a phone?

Yes. The meter pairs by Bluetooth with the free Contour Diabetes app on compatible Android or iOS devices, where you can view and share results. The meter also works without the app.

What does the SmartLIGHT do?

After each test it lights green, amber or red to show whether your result is within, above or below your target range. You can turn it off.

What if my first blood drop is too small?

Second-Chance sampling lets you apply more blood to the same strip, which can save a strip and a second finger prick.

What batteries does it take?

Two CR2032 lithium coin cell batteries. They are not rechargeable.
