Description
FORA GTel 4G LTE blood glucose and blood ketone monitoring system
The FORA GTel is a blood glucose and blood ketone meter from ForaCare with a touchscreen. It uses a 4G LTE cellular connection to send readings to a monitoring service, so it can be used in remote monitoring programs.
The meter has a built-in logbook and trend review, and the listing describes audible results in English, Spanish and French. Glucose and ketone testing each need their own compatible test strips, and lancets are also needed.
Test strips and lancets are sold separately. Follow the manufacturer instructions for testing, and use the strips made for this meter. Talk to your care team about what your readings mean and about ketone testing, and do not change treatment based on a meter alone.
