5 Series Bluetooth upper arm monitor
The Omron BP7255 5 Series is an upper arm blood pressure monitor that syncs readings by Bluetooth to the compatible OMRON app. It stores 30 readings for one user on the monitor itself.
It shows a High symbol at 130 mmHg systolic or 80 mmHg diastolic and above, flags an irregular heartbeat, and shows a movement symbol if you moved during a reading. The included D-ring cuff fits upper arms 9 to 17 in (22 to 42 cm), and it runs on 4 AA batteries.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
How do I connect it to my phone?
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone, install the compatible OMRON app, and follow the pairing steps in the app. Keep the monitor within 16 ft (5 m) of your phone. Readings transfer after each measurement.
Can I use it without the app?
Yes. The monitor stores up to 30 readings for 1 user. Once the memory is full it overwrites the oldest, so sync regularly if you use the app.
Can more than one person use it?
It tracks readings for 1 user. If you are sharing, Omron says to track the other person's readings separately.
Does it come with an AC adapter?
No. The box has the monitor, cuff, 4 AA batteries, manual and quick start guide. No AC adapter is included.
What cuff size does it take?
The included cuff fits upper arms 9 to 17 in (22 to 42 cm) around. An optional 7 to 9 in cuff is available separately from Omron.
What do the symbols mean?
High appears at 130 mmHg systolic or 80 mmHg diastolic and above. The irregular heartbeat symbol appears when an irregular rhythm is detected 2 or more times in a measurement. The movement symbol appears when you moved; remove the cuff, wait 2 to 3 minutes, and retake. If irregular heartbeat keeps appearing, Omron recommends consulting your physician.
Who should not use it?
It is for adults at home and is not intended for ambulatory use. Omron says it is intended for adults. It should not be used on infants, toddlers, children or people who cannot express themselves, on an injured arm or an arm under medical treatment, or while on an IV drip or blood transfusion. Do not use it near MRI, CT or high frequency surgical equipment, in oxygen rich environments, or while moving (it is not intended for ambulatory use). Omron says to consult your physician before using it if you have common arrhythmias, arterial sclerosis, poor perfusion, diabetes, pregnancy, pre-eclampsia or renal disease. It has not been validated for use on pregnant patients. It emits 2.4 GHz radio signals, so disable Bluetooth or remove batteries where RF is restricted, such as aircraft or hospitals. Never adjust medication based on readings.
