iGlucose GM291 4G LTE blood glucose meter diabetes care kit
This kit is built around the iGlucose GM291 blood glucose meter, a cellular meter for checking glucose at home. It needs a sample of under 0.5 microliter of fresh capillary blood and gives a result in under 5 seconds.
The meter measures 20 to 600 mg/dL. The Digital Health Store bundles it with 50 test strips, 100 30G lancets, 200 alcohol prep pads and a 1 quart sharps container.
The manual says the meter is for one person only and not for critically ill, dehydrated or neonatal patients. Do not use expired strips. Any monitoring service is set up separately. Ask your clinician how often to test.

The manual states quantitative measurement of glucose in fresh capillary whole blood from the fingertip, for one person only and not to be shared.
How much blood and how long?
The manual lists a sample of less than 0.5 microliter and a test time under 5 seconds, with a range of 20 to 600 mg/dL.
Who should not use it?
The manual says it is not for critically ill, shock, dehydrated or hyper-osmolar patients or for neonatal use. Do not use serum or plasma, and do not use expired strips.
Does it send my readings anywhere?
The meter is a cellular device. Any monitoring service is set up separately and is not part of this listing.
What operating conditions apply?
Test between 10 and 40 C (50 to 104 F) and 10 to 90 percent relative humidity. After a big temperature change, wait 45 minutes before testing.
What should I confirm before buying?
Check the strips you receive match the meter, and ask your clinician how often to test.
