McKesson push-button safety lancets are sterile 23 gauge lancets with a fixed 1.8 mm depth for finger blood sampling. Each box holds 100 single-use, blue-coded lancets.
Each lancet is a self-contained safety device. You activate it with the push button, and the needle retracts and locks afterward so the lancet cannot be reused. No separate lancing device is needed.
McKesson lists the lancets as gamma-sterilized and not made with natural rubber latex. Because the 23 gauge needle is wider than typical home-testing lancets, check that the size suits your use. Discard used lancets in a sharps container.
