Description
Welch Allyn 97200-MC diagnostic set with MacroView otoscope and coaxial ophthalmoscope
The Welch Allyn 97200-MC is a 3.5 V diagnostic set that pairs a MacroView otoscope with a coaxial ophthalmoscope on one rechargeable handle. It is used for ear and eye examinations and packs into a hard case.
Welch Allyn states the MacroView otoscope gives twice the field of view and 30% greater magnification than a traditional otoscope. The ophthalmoscope has 28 focusing lenses from -25 to +40 diopters, with micro, small, large, fixation target, slit and red-free filter apertures.
The 3.5 V nickel-cadmium handle charges with a plug-in wall transformer, and a C cell converter is included. The set comes with four reusable specula (2, 3, 4 and 5 mm). Some retailers report this model has been discontinued in favor of the 71-SM2CXX.
