iHealth Hypertension Monitoring Kit: Bluetooth blood pressure monitor, pulse oximeter and body composition scale

This iHealth kit bundles the Track upper-arm blood pressure monitor, the Air wireless pulse oximeter and the Nexus body composition scale. Together they let you log blood pressure, pulse, blood oxygen, weight and body composition at home in one place.

All three devices connect by Bluetooth to the free iHealth MyVitals app on iOS and Android. The Track cuff fits arms of about 22 to 42 cm, the Air covers 70 to 99% SpO2, and the Nexus scale supports up to 8 users and up to 400 lb.

The Track monitor and Nexus scale use AAA batteries per iHealth, and the Air oximeter charges by USB. The Track manual says it is not suitable for severe arrhythmia. These devices are for home tracking and do not replace advice from your clinician.

The Track standard cuff fits arms of about 22 to 42 cm (8.6 to 16.5 inches). An XL cuff for 42 to 48 cm is a separate item.

Are batteries included?

iHealth lists 4 AAA batteries in the Track box and 4 AAA batteries in the Nexus scale box. The Air pulse oximeter has a built-in rechargeable battery charged with the included USB cable.

How many people can use the scale?

The Nexus scale supports up to 8 users and identifies them by weight, with a manual user select button if two users weigh about the same.

Any limits on the blood pressure monitor?

The Track manual says it is not suitable for people with severe arrhythmia. It is not a diagnostic tool, so talk to your clinician about your readings.

How should the pulse oximeter be used?

iHealth says to use it before or after exercise while you are at rest. It is for spot checks, not continuous monitoring.
