Description
Description
Dexcom G7 continuous glucose monitor sensor, 10 day wear (prescription required)
The Dexcom G7 is a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) sensor that tracks glucose through the day without a fingerstick for every reading. Readings show on the Dexcom G7 app on a compatible smartphone or on a Dexcom receiver.
Each sensor has a 10.5 day wear time, which includes a 12 hour grace period. Customizable high and low alerts tell you when glucose moves out of your range, and Dexcom indicates the system for people 2 years and older.
A prescription is required. The sensor comes with a single-use applicator. A receiver or phone is not included, and you should check Dexcom's compatibility list first. Fingersticks are still needed if symptoms do not match your readings.
