Description
Withings BeamO 4-in-1 health multi-scan device: thermometer, ECG, stethoscope and oximeter
Withings BeamO is a handheld multi-scan health device that brings a contactless temporal artery thermometer, a 1-lead ECG, a digital stethoscope and a pulse oximeter into one pocketable tool. Results show on its 1.9 inch color screen and sync to the Withings app.
Move it across the forehead for a temperature reading, hold the electrodes for an ECG and SpO2 spot check, or place it on the chest and back to record heart and lung sounds. Data syncs over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth, and you can share reports with your doctor.
BeamO is not a diagnostic tool, and ECG and SpO2 are for adults only. It is not for use with a pacemaker or other electronic implant. It needs the Withings app on iOS 16 or Android 9 or newer, and feature availability may vary by region.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What does BeamO measure?
BeamO combines a contactless temporal artery thermometer, a 1-lead ECG with two stainless steel electrodes, a piezoelectric digital stethoscope for heart and lung sounds, and a pulse oximeter for SpO2 spot checks.
Does it diagnose conditions?
No. Withings states BeamO does not diagnose. Stethoscope recordings are meant to be shared with a healthcare professional, and only a doctor can interpret heart and lung sounds.
Who can use the ECG and SpO2?
ECG use is limited to adults (Withings lists 22 and older). SpO2 is for adults only. The thermometer and stethoscope can be used at all ages.
Can I use the ECG with a pacemaker or implant?
Withings states the ECG is not for people with a pacemaker, defibrillator or other electronic implant. Ask your doctor if unsure.
Do I need a phone?
A phone is needed for setup and the Withings app (iOS 16+ or Android 9+). After Wi-Fi setup, BeamO can sync over Wi-Fi without a nearby phone.
How long does the battery last and how do I charge it?
Withings lists up to 8 months per charge, with about 1 hour to charge over USB-C. Measurements cannot be taken while it is charging.
Is it available with LTE?
Withings offers an optional LTE Cat-M1 version. Confirm which connectivity you need before ordering, as feature availability can vary by region.
Can I share results with my doctor?
Yes. The Withings app can create HealthLink web links and PDF reports from your measurements.
