Description

Clearblue Fertility Monitor Test Sticks, 30 count, ovulation and fertility test sticks

Clearblue Fertility Monitor Test Sticks are the replacement urine test sticks for the Clearblue Fertility Monitor. This pack has 30 individually foil-wrapped sticks. Used with the monitor, they help identify changes in two key hormones, estrogen and LH, so the monitor can show your Low, High and Peak fertility days.

The monitor tells you which days to test. Each test uses your first urine of the day, either held in the stream for 3 seconds or dipped for 15 seconds, then inserted into the monitor to be read. You will use 10 sticks in a typical cycle, and up to 20 if cycles are long or irregular.

These sticks only work with the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, sold separately. The monitor suits natural cycles of 21 to 42 days and is not intended for contraception. Store dry and do not freeze. Do not use a damaged foil wrapper or an expired stick. Talk to your doctor with any medical conditions.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need the monitor?

Yes. The sticks only work with the Clearblue Fertility Monitor, which is sold separately. Clearblue says to use only the purple and white Test Sticks with the monitor.

How many sticks will I use per cycle?

The monitor asks for one set of 10 sticks each cycle. If your cycles are long or irregular it may ask for a second set of 10, so some users need 20. A 30-count pack is therefore roughly 1.5 to 3 cycles.

How do I test?

Use your first urine of the day. Either hold the sampling end pointing down in your urine stream for 3 seconds, or dip it in a urine sample in a clean, dry container for 15 seconds. Then put the cap on the wet end and insert the stick into the monitor.

What do the sticks measure?

Together with the monitor, they identify changes in two hormones, estrogen (as E3G) and luteinizing hormone (LH), to show Low, High or Peak fertility.

Who is it for?

Women whose natural cycle normally lasts 21 to 42 days. Clearblue says results may be misleading with menopausal symptoms, PCOS, impaired liver or kidney function, pregnancy or recent pregnancy, tetracycline antibiotics, hormonal treatments or contraception, and hCG or LH fertility treatments. Talk to your doctor if unsure.

Can it be used as contraception?

No. The monitor is designed to help you become pregnant and is not intended for contraception.

How should I store and dispose of them?

Store dry between 50 and 104 F (10 to 40 C) and do not freeze. Do not use a stick if its foil wrapper is damaged or it is past its expiry date. Dispose of used sticks with household waste, not down the toilet.
