Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away skin tag remover for at-home cryotherapy
Dr. Scholl's Freeze Away is an at-home skin tag remover that uses a freezing (cryotherapy) method. A foam applicator is chilled and held on the skin tag, and the tip turns blue when it reaches working temperature.
It is meant for soft skin tags about 2 to 6 mm in size on the neck, chest, underarms, back or groin. Dr. Scholl's says most treated tags fall off within about two weeks, and you should wait at least two weeks before retreating.
Follow the package insert for the full directions. The canister is flammable and under pressure, and Dr. Scholl's says not to use it if you have diabetes, poor circulation, a blood condition affected by cold, or a weakened immune system.
