Description
Description
Zewa UAM-720 automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor
The Zewa UAM-720 is an automatic upper arm blood pressure monitor for home use. Press Start and the cuff inflates on its own, then the screen shows your systolic and diastolic pressure and pulse rate.
A color scale in green, yellow and red helps you see where a reading falls, and an irregular heartbeat symbol appears if one is detected. The monitor stores readings and calculates the average of the last 3. The standard cuff fits arms of 8.7 to 14.2 in.
It runs on 4 AA batteries, which are included, and comes with a storage bag. An AC adaptor can be used but is not included. Zewa says the irregular heartbeat symbol is a caution and not a diagnosis, so talk to your doctor if it appears often.

Frequently asked questions
Frequently asked questions
What does the irregular heartbeat symbol mean?
Zewa says the IHB symbol is only a caution and not a diagnosis. Consult your physician if it shows continuously. Talking or moving during a measurement can cause a false indication.
What cuff size is included?
The standard cuff fits arms of 8.7 to 14.2 in. An XL cuff option is offered on this listing.
How does it handle inflation?
Zewa's Personalized Inflation System automatically determines the inflation pressure needed for the measurement.
Does it average readings?
Yes. It calculates the average of the last 3 readings, shown with an AVG symbol.
What powers it?
4 AA batteries. An AC adaptor connection exists but the adaptor is not included.
Can I use measurements to change my medication?
No. Zewa and standard guidance say to consult your doctor about your readings before starting or changing treatment.
