FORA D40g cellular blood pressure monitor and blood glucose meter
The FORA D40g is a 2-in-1 blood pressure monitor and blood glucose meter from ForaCare. It measures systolic and diastolic pressure and pulse rate with an upper-arm cuff, and measures blood glucose from a fingertip sample with a test strip.
Readings upload automatically over a cellular connection to the ForaCare HealthView telehealth system, so no phone or app is needed. The meter stores the latest 864 readings, offers an average mode and irregular rapid beat detection, and gives audible results in English and Spanish.
The D40g is not Bluetooth-enabled. Test strips, lancets, a lancing device and control solution are sold separately. It is for monitoring and not for diagnosis, so talk with your doctor about your results before changing any treatment.

What does the D40g measure?
Blood pressure and pulse rate with an inflatable upper-arm cuff, and blood glucose from a fresh fingertip blood sample using a test strip.
How do readings get to a care team?
The meter uploads readings automatically over a cellular signal to the ForaCare HealthView telehealth system. Eject the test strip after a glucose test so the result uploads.
Does it connect to a phone app?
No. The D40g is not Bluetooth-enabled and will not connect to a smartphone app. You can scroll the meter's memory with the M button.
Are strips and lancets included?
No. Test strips, lancets, a lancing device and control solution are sold separately. Check the strip vial for the expiration date. Strips expire 90 days after opening.
How many readings does it store?
The meter stores the latest 864 readings.
Does this device come with a monitoring service?
This listing is for the device only. It sends readings over a cellular connection to a monitoring service.
Can I use it for diagnosis?
